E-Library Project 17


The First Egyptian Biosafety Association E- library project was developed as part of the International Biorisk Management Twinning Project (Sandia National Laboratories) 2015-2016. This program pairs biorisk management professionals from MENA countries with counterparts in the United States.

The E-Library page was developed by:

  1. Robin Trundy (Assistant Director and Biosafety Officer at Vanderbilt University) USA.
  2. Heba Hassan (Researcher in Reference Laboratory for Veterinary Quality Control on Poultry Production) EGYPT.

The library is intended to be a valuable resource for biorisk management professionals, as well as those hoping to learn more about biorisk management.

The E-library page is divided in to 3 sections.

Section 1- Provides a collection of general biosafety documents and resource pages covering all aspects of biosafety principles and practices.The collection categories include:

Section 2- Consists of links to biosafety procedural documents and training materials developed for, or adopted by, the laboratories of the Agricultural Research Center of the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture.

Section 3- Consists of research publications resulting from projects presented at the first conference of EGYBSA.
